My house was in dire need of a paint job as it had been around 10 years since it had been last painted. I interviewed three companies to get proposals for the job. My meeting with Rob really stood out from the other two because he walked around the building and noticed/pointed out things such as water damage on the stucco area of my stairs and other details. This told me that he would do a thorough job and not just slap a coat of paint on my house. Rob was also good about scheduling when the job would start and continually updated me on what his team would be working on every couple of days. Absolutely 5-star experience. Not only did Rob and his crew do an extraordinary job, but their bid also came in well below the competition. We have a 9-unit condominium building, and Abbott Painting has done work here twice. Once four years ago, (it still looks like it was painted yesterday) and then this year they painted the exterior. They handled every detail from scaffolding, paint procurement, clean up and a port-o-potty. Cannot rave enough about their service!

Abbott Painting has recently finished an exterior painting job on my 2-flat Edwardian house. I am pleased with the work they did. Rob was available throughout the job, keeping me informed about how things were going and explained a couple of latest problems that were found and exactly what the cost would be. The painters on his crew were clearly knowledgeable about their work and kept me up to date about the progress. They were very pleasant and courteous, making it easy to have them around for the three weeks it took to get the work done. The house looks great, and when the first heavy rain came, I felt secure in the knowledge that it was ready for winter storms.

I recommend Rob and his team at Abbott Painting; I have worked with them for the past ten years in caring for my Edwardian home built in 1906. The quality of their work has been outstanding, both for painting outdoors as well as indoors. With my busy schedule, I cannot be home for the duration of the jobs, and I have trusted them with my house key and access to the house without incident.

I needed to paint one side of my house, not a difficult job but a particular situation because (1) access to the job site was through the interior of the house and (2) the wall was on the property line and the scaffolding had to be put on the neighbor’s yard. When I called Rob, he came out promptly and took the time to study the situation, explain to me the options and shortly after sent me a detailed quote. The scaffolding sub-contractor was careful moving around the house with their equipment and did a clean job in & out. Likewise, the painter did an excellent job, covering everything to prevent accidental staining, coming in and leaving on time every day and picking up any debris left.

High quality at a competitive price. Rob was easy to work with and Jose did a superb job painting the front of our Victorian home. Communication with Rob was great, and he was helpful in picking out the colors to match. He partnered with our carpenter which was a super plus. Would recommend for any painting work you need to have done.
